Don’t worry – we’ve got you covered.

We dug up the best family things to do in Arlington, TX this fall, so you don’t have to!

#1 – Six Flags Over Texas

Six Flags Over Texas is LOADED with excitement and activities for the entire family, making it one of the best things to do in Arlington, TX this Fall. It’s not just for thrill-seekers, but if you’re an adrenaline junkie you won’t be short on options!

Six Flags caters to the comic book nerd in all of us – their Batman roller coaster and Catwoman Whip ride will ratchet your heart rate up a few notches, while immersing you in a comic book universe that’s right off the pages themselves.

Afraid of heights? The family rides have got you covered. Batwing and the Conquistador are perfect for parents and kids alike, but our personal favorite is the Roaring Rapids!

Kids have a world all their own at Six Flags – Bugs Bunny’s Boomtown Adventure is a surefire way to keep the children occupied, and Looney Tunes Adventure Camp lets your kids join the whole cast of characters.

Grab yourself some cotton candy and get the family ready for a day at the park!

#2 – Texas Christkindl Market

An Arlington mainstay since 2011, the Texas Christkindl Market should be at the top of things to do in Arlington, TX this fall for anyone – but they especially cater (pun intended!) to the food lover in us all!

The Christkindl Market is full of delicious food vendors that can satisfy any flavor pallet – our favorite is JJ’s Concessions, offering hearty, authentic German food that will leave you running back for seconds…and thirds…and maybe even fourths! Make sure you leave room to head over to Victoria Chefina afterwards for some sweet and savory desserts!

The Market also has a ton of unique vendors that can’t be found elsewhere, and it’s never too early to start your holiday shopping!

The crown jewel of all the activities (and our personal favorite thing to do) at the Market has to be their ENORMOUS outdoor ice skating rink! Your family will have a blast taking in the scenery while skating together on 5,000 square feet of frosty fun.

The Market only runs through December 22nd, so make sure you don’t miss out!

#3 – Autumn at the Arboretum

Nothing says fall like pumpkins, and there’s no better place for pumpkins than the Pumpkin Village at the Dallas Arboretum!

If you and your family love those fall colors, prepare to be delighted. Autumn at the Arboretum was named one of the nation’s best pumpkin festivals, but it’s also host to over 150,000 autumn flowers that will delight your senses.

This place is loaded with pumpkins, gourds, and squashes of all shapes and sizes – if you ask nicely they may even let you take one home!

If your kids aren’t into fall festivities, the Arboretum offers their Children’s Adventure Garden – kids can investigate the on-site plant lab, create their own crafts, and learn about the entire operation.

#4 – Hall’s Pumpkin Farm & Maze

A list of the best family things to do in Arlington, TX this fall wouldn’t be complete without Hall’s Pumpkin Farm and Maze!

Hall’s Pumpkin Farm was founded in 1929, and has been a favorite of Arlington locals for decades. It’s one of the last working farms in North Texas, and it’s full of fall activities that will delight the entire family.

The famous corn maze is a staple of the farm – get lost in the two acres of expansive landscape while you stand in awe of the nearly nine-foot corn stalks! For only $5, it’s the best bang for your buck when looking for fun things to do in Arlington, TX this fall!

If mazes aren’t exactly your thing, hop on the back of a tractor and enjoy an old-fashioned hayride from one of the locals! You’ll get to see the entire farm from a hay-filled trailer, all while taking in that crisp Arlington air.

The best part about this list? There’s no wrong choices! Any of these activities will provide hours of fun, entertainment, and quality time with the family that you’ll never forget.
